Additionally, CureDuchenne has developed impactful programs that support families affected by Duchenne worldwide, providing hope and strength to those facing this challenging journey.
The inaugural Ladies Luncheon, hosted by CureDuchenne at the breathtaking Shady Canyon Golf Club, was a dazzling success. This enchanting garden party brought together key supporters, advocates, and influencers for a chic afternoon that raised awareness for Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
With Bree Cox-Kennedy as emcee, the event featured a mesmerizing fashion presentation, spotlighting Monique Lhuillier’s Fall 2024 Collection and elegant men’s fashion from Hugo Boss for Saks Fifth Avenue, generously produced and underwritten by South Coast Plaza.
Throughout the afternoon, attendees were moved by inspiring presentations from Laura Hameed, Executive Director, and Dr. Michael Kelly, Chief Scientific Officer, who shared CureDuchenne’s incredible progress over the past 22 years.
